OUR STORY

At Kiran & Co., we believe in the power of representation — and it all started with a simple moment that felt way too familiar: standing at a tourist shop, staring at a rack of keychains, knowing not a single one would have our names. Not a Kiran, not a Simran, nor a Rajdeep in sight — but there was plenty of Karens, of course.

That little moment was a big reminder that we’ve been left out of the story for too long.
So in 2020, we set out to change that.

Our brand was born out of love for our Panjabi roots, a passion for design, and a need for more cultural representation — especially in the everyday things we wear and share with our families.
From baby onesies with cheeky Panjabi sayings, to cozy hoodies that speak out loud, every piece we create is rooted in culture, humour, nostalgia, and pride.

Though the idea began years earlier in 2017–2018, it took a village (and a whole lot of chaa) to turn that vision into what Kiran & Co. is today.

We’re proud to be a Canadian brand, with all our products designed, packed, and shipped in-house. Every item is a labour of love — inspired by our community, created with care, and infused with the spirit of home.

We may toss in an English/Gora inspired piece here and there, but our hearts are firmly rooted in our Sikhi and Panjabi heritage. That’s where the soul is — and that’s what we’re here to celebrate.

We are so grateful to be part of your journey — whether you're wrapping your little one in a Khao Peeo Padh Maro onesie, rocking your Kambal & Chaa sweater, or gifting a piece that reminds someone who they are... thank you for letting us bring a little more culture, joy, and desi vibes into your life.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Kiran — the heart behind Kiran & Co., and I just wanted to say… thank you!

Thank you for supporting this small dream of mine — a dream that started with a simple wish to see more of us represented in the everyday things we wear, gift, and cherish.

Every time you place an order, share a post, or even smile at one of our designs, you’re helping me bring that dream to life.

What started as a personal hope, has turned into a brand that now celebrates our Panjabi roots, our identity, and our families - and it wouldn’t be possible without you.

So whether you bought something for your little one, yourself, or a loved one, I hope you know just know how much it means to me. You’re not just buying a product, you’re supporting a purpose, a passion, and a whole lotta love (and late-night designing).

So thank you for helping me 'make a statement' — one piece at a time.

With all my heart
Kiran
